Is Gabriel Fabio Vuono from Italy the FMWS 2022 champion with an impressive performance
during all the weekend.
The Alpe Adria Series riders involved in the Finals, Polish Jakub Stankiewicz and Czech
Roman Durdis, ended the series with incredible improvements achieved during the event.
While Jakub faced some setting problems on qualifying days, he was forced to go through
qualifying race 1 in order to get his post for the big finals. Jakub started his qualifying race in
7th place, but after having solved his issues with the bike he was able to recover 7 positions
with a stunning performance winning the race and get his pass for the big finals.
Different story for Roman whom achieved directly the pass to big finals with a great Q3,
7thwhich classified him in the position of the grid. Roman showed since the beginning his
skills and possibilities to fight for top 10 positions.
The event foresaw Race 1 – Race 2 and then the Super Final with double points.
In Race 1 Jakub crushed trying to recover positions, while Roman concluded his first race in
9th position after a great battle with top riders.
Race 2 saw an excellent performance by Roman that put him in position under the chequered flag with the congratulations of all us for the wonderful pace shown. Jakub was 14th able to recover from back of the grid up to place with several overtakes showing huge improvements so far. The Super Final Race was epic battle among athletes from around the world and our Alpe Adria representative demonstrated all their value. Roman was able to finish that secured him a very important place overhaul in the 16th Championship Standings, while Jakub ended scoring his best lap of the weekend just half second to the time registered by the world champion, finishing his championship in position up to the 33 participants.
Alpe Adria President Mr. Robert Zikovic: First of all we are proud to be chosen as part of the
Mini GP Series program. It was a success for us to have both riders in final races and we are
very satisfied about the results achieved. All this is showing good work and progress of Alpe
Adria Motorcycle Union in the last few seasons.
