The final round of FIM Mini GP re-scheduled at Visonta offered a very technical track in which all riders enjoyed the event.
The geographical position offered the chance to welcome Latvian riders that will join Mini GP Alpe Adria Series in 2023.
With official program scheduled on Sunday, #96 Jakub Stankiewicz scored the pole position with an impressive lap time. Behind him the home rider #21 Bart Kristof only, the duo put in place an unreachable pace for the rest of the group. Third to close the first row was #2 Viktor Cech that shown excellent progress in the final rounds.
Race 1: #96 Jakub Stankiewcz focused on the world final, took the leadership at the start, but #21 Kristof Barta did not leave him going away pushing his rear wheel for all the 14laps. With qualifying lap time, they arrived in tandem until the chequered flag with the Polish rider seeing the final closer. Behind this extraordinary duo, a great performance by #2 Viktor Check that confirmed the progress of the weekend with a brilliant third place. Following the great group of Baltics rider, improving day by day.
Race 2:
Wet race declared by the CoC due to drop of rain in the afternoon. The poleman #96 Jakub Stankiewicz starts very carefully with only one goal in his head. The leadership was taken by the home rider #21 Kristof Barta until the last lap were a very performant #2 Viktor Cech placed the winning over take confirming his great shape of the last races. Viktor took his first win ever at FIM Mini GP Alpe Adria Series, second Kristof Barta and third a very good #15 Kozubik Lukas that finally reached a podium into this season. Brilliant race by #4 Artur Noris that was 4th for all the time until a crush (rider ok) on the penultimate lap. Artur was able to push his bike under the chequered flag to finish in 9th position.
