Saturday at Brno Circuit, the third round of the Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship delivered thrilling Race 1 battles across all classes. With a triple-race weekend ahead including Sunday’s Sprint Race, the action was fierce.
SBK/STK1000 – German rider Patrick Hobelsberger took another SBK win on his Honda, ahead of home hero Karel Hanika and reigning champ Michal Filla.
In STK1000, Hungary’s Mate Szamado dominated the class, with Marko Jerman and Patrik Sedlak following.
SSP300/SPORTBIKE – Local star Daniel Turecek owned the SSP300 race once again, ahead of Bittman and Sowa. In Sportbike, Poland’s Igor Teske took victory, followed by Mavropoulos and Latein, while Cipolletta clinched fourth in a close sprint finish.
SSP600/STK600/600 NG – The STK600 race saw a miracle comeback from Alexander Kastenhuber, who won by 0.058s after starting last due to a crash. Borgelt and Grsic completed the podium. In SSP600, Svitok led Baumgartner and Papageorgiou, while Pascota won in 600 NG.
CUP 1000/CUP 600 – Serbia’s Bajic claimed another CUP 1000 win on Ducati, beating Jurcak and Popek. In CUP 600, Skopek triumphed over Kaloczi and Slatinsek. But the emotional highlight came from Alexandru Remus, who proposed to his partner on the starting grid, showing that the Alpe Adria magic goes beyond the track.
